Introduced in April 1981, the S3 built on the earlier foundations of the previous 2 generations but added the turbo chassis, combined with the tailored suspension setup made this model the sweetest of the normally aspirated cars.

A total of 767 S3’s were produced between 1981 and 1987, this is one of 160 produced in 1982.

A lovely original example, the engine was refurbished on initial purchase in 2000.  Additional head work was required in 2019 and there are stacks of invoices detailing this work.
