Lotus Esprit S1 1978 for restoration.
Due to a complete change of circumstances this is now available.
This very, very, rare Esprit S1 it is one of only 268 RHD cars built and the third off last to be produced – chassis 0379G manufacture date 12/3/1978.
To be clear this a full restoration project. The car has been partially stripped with loads of intimate pictures of the strip down. Originally the last one of nine produced in Roman Bronze this car has been painted red at some stage so the car will need a full respray. It is the last of only three to be produced with champagne leather interior
I have already sourced and purchased most of the parts to completely restore the car. Having spent £17600 on new and replacement parts the list, available on request, is enormous. Most parts have been be sourced via SJ and other reputable classic Lotus parts suppliers. I have receipts, paperwork and Certificate of Provenance from Lotus Cars
Just a few of the new or overhauled parts included, windscreen, bearings, complete brakes, bulkhead, headlamps, UJ, trim, handles, Wolfrace, caps, studs and new tyres, steering rack, lower front wishbones, wiring loom, hinges, trailing arms, dampers and springs, bushes, chrome parts, wiper and arm, SS exhaust system including manifold, gear linkage mod kit, carbs, starter, alternator, alloy header tank and loads, loads, more.

3. Buy the car and the parts for £34995
I have hundreds of photographs of the car as it was stripped down.
Please note the mileage is showing 63183, this cannot be verified although I do believe it is genuine as the car was stored for many years
With asking prices getting on for £80000 to 100000 when fully restored come view the car and see what a real bargain it is.
