This Elan was fully rebuilt in 2014. It was subject to a very detailed and particular restoration. Colour was changed to green at that point. The restoration included the following:

New Kelvedon nylon coated chassis to 26R specification

Fully stripped body to gelcoat, full repaint in Lotus BRG

Fully overhauled steering and suspension including Kelvedon adjustable shock absorbers, trunions, links and new bushes

The 1600cc engine was fully rebuilt by Paul Exon, with an uprated water pump, alternator conversion, gearbox rebuild, diff rebuild and CV driveshafts by Sue Miller, clutch completely renewed including cylinders and part stainless exhaust.

Previously sold by us to the last owner, he has added the roll bar and set the car up for hill climbs and sprints. It is one of the best restored Elans we have seen.

Like all our cars, this Lotus will be supplied fully checked over and serviced and with a new MOT. It will also be HPI checked and if sold for use within the UK, will come with a comprehensive warranty
