A super looking Esprit S4 and the only example in the UK to be finished in this colour, Palacio. More usually associated with the Elan M100 S2 (and used in publicity material for that model), this colour was never officially offered on the Esprit and only two were specified, with the other being made for the USA.
With the current owner for ten years, the car has benefitted from exemplary servicing by Esprit guru Gerald Turner and is now presented in an outstanding mechanical condition, with a recent change of cambelt and an upgrade to the braking system, a replacement clutch, manifold, catalytic convertor, and fuel tank, plus much more. Current mileage is 79050 and the MOT certificate is valid until November 2022.
In between services, the vehicle was a regular visitor to Gerald, with all of the work listed above plus lots more undertaken during the current period of ownership. I have driven M640 LOB forty miles and can confirm that it drives superbly, with the brake upgrade being particularly beneficial to the overall experience. All of the usual tasks have been attended to including a fuel tank, manifold and cambelt replacement. Additionally, the vehicle sits on a set of nearly new Goodyear Eagle tyres, the recommended tyre for the Esprit S4.
Accompanying the vehicle is a box file of invoices and receipts plus many previous MOT certificates. The owners’ packs and two sets of keys/alarm fobs are, of course, also present. I have undertaken an HPI check, showing no adverse information, and a copy is on file for the benefit of the owner.
