Car was originally the Marketing Director’s car in the Bahar era and has then had two additional owners until i bought it from Murray Lotus in June 2013. I’ve done 25k in it taking it to 55k. Gearbox cables have been replaced and the shift feels great.
I’ve got all paperwork back to the 2nd owner but the notable highlights are..
Jan ’18 – Paint correction and Gtechnique Exo v3 applied (lasts 18-24 months)
Jan ’18 – 8 Year / 72k mile service
Sept ’17 – New battery
Aug ’17 – Mass Air Flow Sensor replaced
Jan ’17 – 7 year / 63k mile serice
Jan ’17 – Front tyres replaced (@49k)
Feb ’16 – Clutch replaced, front pads, rear pads and discs(@43k)
Jan ’16 – 6 year / 54k service
Car will be serviced and MOT’d by Craig Moncrieff on Jan 3rd and will have both rear alloys refurbished at the same time so the alloys will be perfect. Craig originally sold me the car when he was at Murrays and has looked after the car ever since. So he knows the car well and can vouch for it’s condition. It wants for nothing.
Paintwork is almost perfect and it had a £600 paint correction last Jan with a Gtechnique Exo v3 coating applied. It’s done 1.5k since then and sits in a garage so the paintwork is still in amazing condition. To say the water beads would be an understatement. Rear seats are pretty usable and have been home to my son since he was 18 months old. (he’s now 3.5 and corrects people when they say “nice car”. “it’s not a car, it’s a lotus)
Car is garaged every night and sits on a battery conditioner.
Easily the best car I’ve ever driven, let alone owned but i changed jobs this time last year meaning a 20 min cycle rather than a fun B road commute. Good for my health but the evora isn’t moving enough. Also i can’t fit a bike in it so i’m having to steal my wife’s car a lot. Which isn’t going down well. So it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.
